Job summary

Relient Health in Arab, AL is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. You will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate (≈$35–$50/hour) with full benefits, PTO, and potential sign-on or relocation support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Current AL SLP license (or eligibility).
• CCC-SLP preferred, but CFs will be considered when supervision is available.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress using EMR systems.
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians to deliver coordinated care.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment goals and progress.
