Job summary

The Chester County Intermediate Unit seeks a Specialized Instructional Coach (Speech & Language Therapist BCBA) within Student Services. The role leads implementation of ABA and Verbal Behavior strategies and serves as a lead consultant across sites.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, conducting data-driven program reviews, delivering trainings, and developing IEP-related documentation; placement on salary scales depends on experience and credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master’s preferred.
• PDE Speech & Language Pathologist instructional certificate required.
• Minimum 3 years of ABA experience; Verbal Behavior experience preferred.
• BCBA certification required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead consultant to staff at designated sites.
• Develop plans for skill development and monitor progress.
• Provide individualized coaching and feedback on evidence-based practices.
• Use data to guide instructional decisions and adjustments.
• Prepare written summaries/consult notes for stakeholders.
• Conduct program site reviews and observations.
