Job summary

Affinity Therapy Services seeks a dedicated Speech Therapy Assistant to work under a licensed SLP. The SLPA will provide direct treatment, support clients in achieving communication goals, and assist with therapy-related administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include direct therapy, documentation, collaboration with families and teams, and material preparation in a comfortable clinic setting. NC licensure is required; prior SLPA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or Bachelor's in related field with training.
• Licensure: Current SLPA license issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners.
• Experience: Prior SLPA experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services under supervision of an SLP.
• Support clients across age groups to improve articulation, language and social communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and client progress.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
