Job summary

SPEECH 101 THERAPY INC. is seeking a School-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide direct support under the supervision of a licensed SLP.

You will help implement treatment plans, collect data, prepare therapy materials, and assist students in reaching speech and language goals in line with FERPA/HIPAA and state regulations. The SLPA will work collaboratively with teachers and families, use AAC tools, and maintain accurate records while providing services across classrooms

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies or related field.
• Current SLPA license, registration, or certification as required by state regulations.
• Knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention techniques.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with technology and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language intervention services to students as directed by the supervising SLP.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities developed by the supervising SLP.
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate data on student progress.
• Prepare therapy materials and activities.
• Support documentation of student progress and records.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families as directed by the SLP.
• Utilize AAC systems and therapy tools as assigned.
• Assist with interventions under supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information per FERPA/HIPAA.
• Attend trainings and professional development events.
• Perform other SLPA duties as assigned.
