Job summary

Advocates in Massachusetts is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessment, intervention, and support for individuals with speech, language, and complex communication needs. Experience with AAC and swallowing preferred; travel across Massachusetts and Rhode Island is required.

This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday schedule 8:30am–4:30pm. A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and ASHA CCC-SLP eligibility/licensure in MA and RI are required.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
  • CCC-SLP certification or eligibility.
  • Current MA and RI licensure or eligibility.
  • Experience with AAC and swallowing preferred.
  • Ability to travel regionally across MA and RI.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of communication disorders to determine functional communication strengths and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
  • Provide direct speech-language pathology services, including AAC assessment and intervention.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to support goals.
  • Complete timely clinical documentation and progress notes.
  • Maintain compliance with professional standards and organizational policies.
