Lanessa Extended Care Webster is hiring Speech Therapists on a full-time, part-time, and per diem basis in Webster, MA. Compensation up to $55 per hour with weekly pay.

The Speech Therapist will assess residents, develop care plans, provide direct treatments, and train staff while collaborating with the clinical team. Licensure in Massachusetts is required, and SNF experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Therapy required.
• Massachusetts Speech Therapist license required.
• Prior experience in skilled nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients/residents.
• Evaluates patients/residents and develops care plans.
• May perform administrative duties such as assigning activities, medical record oversight, and overseeing orders.
• Under physician orders, provides direct resident treatments per plan of care (individual, supervised, group).
• Contributes to team meetings and decision making.
• Consults with and trains patients/residents and caregivers.
• Monitors efficiencies with supervisor.
• Documents activities in the clinical documentation system.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Medicare and reimbursement regulations.

Lanessa Extended Care in Webster is hiring full-time, part-time, and per diem Speech Therapists!

Up to $55 an hour with weekly pay.

As a Speech Therapist, you provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment and consultation to a general rehab caseload; participate in the clinical team process; provide teaching and training to caregiver staff; and supervise other assistants, aides and students as required.Education & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Speech Therapy required.

• Must possess a speech therapist license in Massachusetts.

• Prior experience in skilled nursing preferred.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Screens patients/residents.

• Evaluates patients/residents and develops appropriate care plans.

• May perform additional assigned administrative duties such as: assigning and overseeing resident care activities, medical record oversight, assuring execution of physician orders, ordering supplies, etc.

• Under a physician’s order, provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care. Treatment venue includes individual, supervised and group.

• Contributes to the team meeting and decision-making process as defined by the program.

• Consults with and trains patients/residents and caregivers.

• Monitors efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor.

• Documents activities according to the company’s clinical documentation system on a timely basis.

• Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
