Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking qualified personnel to join our team in this dynamic casino environment. Responsibilities include maintaining slot machines, ensuring compliance with gaming laws, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates will have a relevant credential, hands-on repair experience, and the ability to read and follow complex instructions. Physical stamina, a Gaming Permit, and good communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • One year certificate from college or technical school.
  • Three to six months related experience and/or training.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties of this position.
  • Troubleshoot and repair all slot machines and related equipment.
  • Safeguards all assigned areas.
  • Performs all slot moves and changes as directed.
  • Ensures that all gaming devices are in proper working order.
  • Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members.
  • Any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Basic Computer skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit.
  • Electronic or mechanical background preferred. Minimum of 2 years slot experience (Slot, video machines, and associated signage). Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The team member is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The team member is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
