Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain all steps of the Red Carpet Customer Service program with each patron and employee you come in contact with.
- Effectively respond to supervisor's requests in all areas of customer interaction and customer concerns; comply with company policies, all state and federal regulations, and internal controls as it relates to this position.
- Perform preventative maintenance: clean, inspect, adjust, and test various machine parts.
- Perform floor maintenance: troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions and ATi Oasis system problems as they occur during gaming; assist Floor Supervisors with malfunctions and answer floor calls.
- Perform machine conversions: install kits in machine cabinet and computer processor board, and verify pay table and reel stops.
- Assist customers with questions and complaints regarding slot machines; provide answers and explanations, and rectify problems as appropriate.
- Work on special projects as assigned; assist with every phase, from layout to installation.
- Assist in maintaining adequate stock of parts necessary for repairs; order parts as needed and check in incoming parts.
- Perform shop maintenance: troubleshoot and repair electronic circuit boards, test and adjust loaner units, reprogram progressives and messages, etc.
- Move slot machines from one location to another as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair Caribbean Stud tables and shuffling machines as needed; respond to calls from the Table Games department for Caribbean Stud malfunctions.
- Employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job description where, in the Company's judgment, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or improved guest service.
Qualifications
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
- One year of experience on slot machines and associated equipment.
- Electronic/mechanical troubleshooting and use of electronic test equipment experience required (e.g., board testers, multimeters, oscilloscope).
- Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests, and vendors.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift and mobility to move easily around the entire property.
- Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations, including the ability to lift and carry up to 120 lb. and push or pull up to 200 lb., and the ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
