Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a Slot Technician in Westlake, Louisiana. This role requires a high school diploma and a preference for Slot Repair school graduates. Candidates should have knowledge of slot machines and provide excellent customer service.

The technician will perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on machines while ensuring maximum performance and reducing downtime. Working conditions include maneuvering quickly in a casino environment and tolerating second-hand smoke and noise.

Job Summary

  • Must have a working knowledge of slot machines, jet sorts, and a fundamental knowledge of electronics.
  • Must be able to get along with co‑workers and work as a team.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents self as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same.
  • Meets attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Must be able to perform any and all duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Department Head.

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for the execution of Preventive Maintenance Program standards developed by Slot Performance team.
  • Ensures maximum performance and reduces machine downtime by meeting monthly quotas of machines serviced.
  • Performs minor repairs of machines that may be required during the preventive maintenance service time.
  • Participates in daily moves and modifications projects to continue to build knowledge base and experience levels.
  • Ability to work on integrated circuits, computers, test equipment.
  • Fundamental knowledge of electronics is essential.

Physical & Mental Demands

  • Must be able to quickly maneuver and work inside assigned area, while quickly man lift, pull, push and carry up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to turn keys constantly.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel and twist.
  • Must be able to have dexterity in both hand and finger movement.
  • Must be able to handle and solve any concerns and questions customers may have.
  • Must present a well‑groomed appearance.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Work Environment

  • Must be able to continuously and quickly maneuver around casino Slot areas for entire shift.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
