Job summary

Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, MN is seeking a Slot Technical Shift Manager to lead, schedule, and oversee Slot Technicians on a rotating shift. You will manage repairs, ensure regulatory compliance, protect assets, and test new equipment while delivering high guest service.

As a mentor, you will train Floor Tech to Bench Tech, conduct performance appraisals, verify machine setup and jackpots, resolve guest issues promptly, and recruit team members.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electronics or equivalent field with slot repair experience.
• Three years supervisory experience, including one year in slot repair.
• Must be 18+ and hold a valid driver\'s license.

Job Overview

Manages Slot technical projects for an assigned shift, which includes overseeing repairs and maintenance to Slot machines and associated equipment, while ensuring a high degree of guest service, efficiency, and protection of company assets. Tests new equipment and software applications pertaining to slot repair. Monitors the slot on-line data system and addresses any technical problems that are identified. Acts as primary compliance officer on the shift

• Schedules and oversees Slot Technicians and coordinates daily tasks to ensure quality service, regulatory compliance, and protection of company assets. Generates and investigates system activity reports to identify repair and compliance issues.
• Maintains all hardware and software applications currently being used.
• Acts as mentor in development of Floor Tech to Bench Tech. This includes training and development. Completes performance appraisals on direct reports.
• Conducts machine verifications for large jackpots and reports results to the Slot Shift Manager before jackpot hand pay.
• Resolves guest-related machine problems in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
• Occasional tasks.
• Acts as a Slot Technician as needed.
• Verifies all machine set-up completed by Slot Technicians to ensure equipment/system integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Acts as verifier and signatory in accordance with asset control procedures.
• New technology research, testing and recommendations.
• Assists in the destruction of Gaming Equipment.
• Participates in machine deliveries (In and Out).
• Recruits, interviews, and selects team members.
• Driving is not an essential function of this job. In the event driving is required, team members must adhere to the driving standards determined by the Gaming Enterprise.

Job Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Associates Degree in Electronics field or a combination of education and Slot repair experience equal to three years.
• Three years supervisory experience to include one year in Slot repair.
• Valid Class D driver's license may be required with a good driving record.
