Responsibilities

  • Oversee electronic gaming device activities and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain inventory and accurate par levels; determine materials/tools.
  • Plan slot machine layouts and manage preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair slot equipment and player tracking systems.
  • Develop and enforce department policies, procedures, and training manuals.
  • Ensure policies and practices align with brand and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead development of service standards for the Slot Tech team.
  • Report budget concerns and coordinate movements/conversions of machines.
  • Maintain confidentiality on departmental and company matters.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supervising and managing staff in the Slot Tech department. Develops, implements, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Creates effective and efficient schedules, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives, and achieving guest satisfaction.
  • Assists in the budget process for the department and provides recommendations; ensures compliance to departmental budget initiatives; reports budget concerns to manager.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
  • Responsible for oversight of electronic gaming device activities for adherence to established procedures.
  • Responsible for all material inventory and ensures accurate par levels are maintained.
  • Makes final determinations regarding types of materials, supplies, or tools to be used within established guidelines.
  • Responsible for layouts to installations of slot machines.
  • Manages and directs preventative maintenance of slot machines.
  • Responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of machine malfunctions and player tracking system problems; reviews correspondence needed to move, convert, or install slot‑related equipment.
  • Responsible for the repair, maintenance, and performance of all slots and related gaming equipment.
  • Responsible for the development, interpretation, and implementation of departmental policies and operating procedures, as well as training programs, manuals, directives, work schedules, rules, and regulations of the Slot Tech department.
  • Ensures all policies, procedures and practices are consistently followed and comply with the company’s service standards, brand attributes, policies, collective bargaining agreements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Plans and submits requests for movements and conversions of slot machines, based on analysis of gaming floor.
  • Leads and directs the development, execution, and measurement of departmental service standards for the Slot Tech team.
  • Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance within area of authority and reporting potential issues to Executive Management/GM.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
Requirements
  • Associate degree (A.A) from technical school, focus in Electronics or related field preferred; or minimum three (3) years of Slot Tech management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Electronics experience required.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and have knowledge of Slot operating systems.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as business needs dictate.
