Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of Slot Repair experience or two years of progressive experience.
  • General understanding of electronics and microprocessors.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; fluent in English.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems diplomatically.
  • Ability to maintain energy and take a proactive approach to issues.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain slot machines.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electronic malfunctions.
  • Complete regulatory and company operational logs.
  • Uses shop machines to fabricate standard parts.
  • Maintains moderate to advanced mechanical and electronic skills.
  • Responsible for machine initial fills.
  • Assists in jackpot payouts and verification process.
  • Inspects, installs, and removes slot machines.
  • Maintains player-tracking system and EZ Pay equipment.
  • Troubleshoots system-related problems.
  • Completes regulatory and company logs/forms accurately.
  • Performs other related duties and maintains confidentiality.

Responsibilities
  • Adheres to established departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. - Responsible for the repair, maintenance, and general operating condition of slot machines.
  • Diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electronic slot machine malfunctions with minimal guidance or assistance.
  • Replaces parts and circuit boards which have caused malfunctions; may repair some circuit boards, with assistance.
  • Utilizes shop machines to fabricate standard or routine parts.
  • Maintains moderate skill levels in mechanical and electronic functions, with possible advanced skills in either.
  • Responsible for the machine initial fills.
  • Assists in jackpot payouts and the verification process.
  • Responsible for the inspection, installation, and removal of slot machines.
  • Maintains player‑tracking system and EZ Pay equipment.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting system‑related problems.
  • Responsible for completing all regulatory and company operational logs/forms correctly (e.g. slot machine meter logs, parts logs, conversion forms, etc.).
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Electronics, Computer Programming, or related field and minimum one (1) year of Slot Repair experience required; or minimum two (2) years of progressive Slot Repair experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General understanding of electronics at the circuit board level.
  • General understanding of microprocessors.
  • Must have strong problem‑solving, analytical, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with guests and team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Must have advanced computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
