Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a Slot Supervisor to oversee slot department personnel during assigned shift, ensure security and accountability of slot funds, and enforce company policies and gaming regulations.

This role requires strong communication, customer service, and leadership skills, with prior gaming and some management experience preferred. Duties include supervising staff, resolving disputes, performing minor repairs, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in gaming, with a concentration in slots, preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of related management experience preferred.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, instruct, and evaluate slot service personnel in the proper performance of job duties.
• Respond to and resolve customer disputes / complaints.
• Perform minor repairs to gaming devices, including clearing jams, resetting machines, and verifying jackpots.
• Accurately complete written department forms and records detailing payment of jackpots, cash coin transactions, machine malfunctions, etc. in a timely manner.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and implement work schedule in response to business demands.
• Maintain secure key controls at all times.
• Develop, apply, and maintain a friendly, courteous rapport with customers and employees.
