Job summary

Black Mesa Casino is seeking a Slot Attendant to handle jackpot payouts, customer inquiries, and related paperwork while ensuring a safe gaming environment. You will monitor machines for irregularities and assist with minor repairs as needed, keeping a clean work area and presenting a professional appearance.

This role may include on‑the‑job training for new staff and requires adherence to policies, effective communication, and the ability to work varied hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 months customer service or change attendant experience.
• Extended working hours including weekends may be required.
• Must lift at least 30 pounds and sustain prolonged walking and standing.
• Must possess Class III Gaming License.
• Must work under intense scrutiny.

Responsibilities

• Make Jackpot payouts and respond to customer requests and inquiries.
• Monitor for gaming machine abuse, sabotage, and cheating.
• Monitor machine performance and perform minor repairs when possible.
• Conduct hopper fills and related paperwork with necessary information.
• Maintain a clean and safe gaming area by handling trash and cleaning machines.
• May train new Slot Attendants on the job.
• Report accidents or incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain professional hygiene and appearance.
• Attend required training as directed by supervision.
