Job summary

Magnolia Bluffs Casino in Natchez, MS is seeking a full-time Slot Attendant / Security Guard to help maintain a safe and entertaining guest experience on the gaming floor.

The role reports to the Director of Slot Operations and involves monitoring machines, handling minor repairs, reporting incidents, managing cash exchanges, and upholding regulatory requirements while delivering friendly guest service. A High School Diploma is preferred, with money handling experience valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior money handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
• Excellent verbal communication skills required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. frequently.
• Able to stand and walk 6-8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Circulates throughout the area assigned, observing players and functioning of machines.
• Assists in minor machine repairs and reporting of machine malfunctions.
• Reports emergencies such as intoxicated, annoying or cheating guests to supervisor immediately.
• Promotes and maintains necessary communications between self, co-workers, supervisors/managers in all departments to ensure controlled operation of VGM floor.
• Responsible to maintain change wallets.
• Make change/exchange currency at customer\'s request.
• Responsible to ensure Federal cash reporting requirements are met.
• Responsible for verifying, issuing and documenting jackpot payouts.
• Counts and verifies all exchanges with the cashier department and customers.
• Promotes positive guest relations; displays a courteous and helpful attitude at all times when dealing with the public.
• Provides a clean safe environment for our guests.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Located on the Mississippi River, on the site of the former Learned's Mill that operated from 1828 until 1962, Magnolia Bluffs Casino now calls this historic land home. The casino originally opened in 2012 and is currently owned and operated by Saratoga Casino Holdings, LLC. With numerous slot machines and ample table games such as poker, blackjack, roulette and craps as well as delicious dining options, we offer a guest experience unparalleled to others. In addition to our boasting casino, we operate a beautiful hotel with the areas only saltwater pool!

We are now looking to expand our team as we continue to provide the city of Natchez with the best customer service and gaming experience possible! Our current opening is for a Security Guard. This position will report directly to the Director of Slot Operations and will be responsible for:
