Job Summary

Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Creates and ensures a fun-filled entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
• Circulates throughout the area assigned, including the smoking atrium, actively observing players and functioning of machines.
• Responsible for making jackpot payoffs, e-ticket paper fills and minor machine repairs.
• Records and logs any VLT machines that are not working.
• Responsible for carrying an adequate amount of currency in their change wallet to make change for large denominations of currency or exchanges of currency at customer’s request.
• Responsible to ensure Federal cash reporting requirements are met.
• Responsible for accurate payment and documentation of jackpot payouts.
• Counts and verifies all exchanges with the cage department and customers
• Complies with State Lottery Regulations and Company Internal Controls.
• Knowledgeable and actively promotes company marketing and promotional events and are proficient in answering guest questions.
• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
• Promotes honesty and trust among the team.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills And Abilities

• Prior money handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
• Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to (50) lbs without difficulty, repeatedly.
• Must be able to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
