Description
SUMMARY:
Supervises slots technicians (including overseeing the maintenance and repair of electronic equipment), project planning (including measuring, installations, AutoCAD layouts, and vendor interactions) and Slot Tech development (including training, performance reviews, and implementation of P&Ps).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, logic, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and the public
- Ability to communicate effectively orally, in writing, email, and text
- Five years as a slot technician of coin/cash/ticket electronic slot machines with a minimum of two years as a technical supervisor or above
- Must have experience working with a slot accounting system. Knowledge of computers (hardware and software)
- Ability to keep track of parts inventory, preventive maintenance and scheduling of assigned staff
- Knowledge of electronic repair procedures, proper use of tools and associated test equipment
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Able to obtain and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain preventative maintenance procedure and schedule
- Teach and develop slot technical staff to include documentation and knowledge checks
- Update and maintain slot software inventory files
- Soldering of components and troubleshooting electronic assemblies (CPUs, Power supplies, etc.)
- Project planning including:
- Measure for fitment
- Plot in Auto CAD
- Interact with vendors to schedule deliveries, installs, and repairs
- Manage the Installation, movement, and removal of slot machines to include bases, games, and signs.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments for power and data needs/placement.
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, Auto CAD, Chrome, and Internet Explorer
- Read and understand financial reports and slot variance information
- Must keep a good working relationship with all other departments and personnel
- Ordering and maintaining inventory of all slot equipment, materials and supplies
- Additional duties as assigned

- Ability to lift 60 pounds

- Constant hearing, seeing and talking
- Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment
- Close spaces while working with others
- Excessive noise and smoke
