Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of production experience preferred, in metals.
• Knowledge of reading measuring devices.
• Basic computer knowledge for data entry and system interactions.
• Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility.
• Reliable work history and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Move material to and from the machine efficiently.
• Instruction Adherence: Follow production instructions provided by the paired Operator.
• System Logging: Log into Steel II and enter downtime codes as required.
• Setup Verification: Assist in verifying machine setups throughout production.
• Quality Checks: Periodically measure dimensions with a measuring tape for accuracy.
• Skill Development: Engage in training to become proficient Operator.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
