Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a production process, preferably in metals.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Basic math skills for measurement and calculations.
• Knowledge of reading measuring devices.
• Basic computer knowledge for system interactions and data entry.
• Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility.
• Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality.

Responsibilities

• Material handling: Collect and move material to and from the machine efficiently.
• Instruction adherence: Follow production instructions provided by the paired Operator.
• System logging: Log into Steel II and accurately enter downtime codes as required.
• Setup verification: Assist in verifying machine setups throughout the production process.
• Quality checks: Periodically measure dimensions with a measuring tape to ensure accuracy.
• Skill development: Engage in continuous training to become a proficient Operator, adhering to established procedures.
• Additional duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
