Qualifications

• Experience operating a slitting line or equivalent packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conveys rolls to the slitter with the use of a forklift.
• Positions rolls on machine carriage, using pallet jacks.
• Pulls outer layer of material from roll to remove contamination and splice film.
• Set machine to processing specifications and verify alignment.
• Inspects first panels discharged from machine to verify correct alignment using tape measure.
• Perform all quality checks and complete paperwork with signatures.
• Start machine and visually inspect rolls for quality adherence.
• Wrap rolls in protective film and assemble shipping units.
• Execute inventory control and maintain organized workspace.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
