Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Slitter Operator to setup and operate several slitters converting jumbo rolls of adhesive products into smaller rolls. You will load jumbo onto unwind, adjust settings, slit and rewind, inspect web quality, and label/pack finished products per standards.

Responsibilities include safety checks, material handling per BOM, and collaboration with teammates to expedite changeovers and troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in a team within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate initiative to take on additional responsibilities.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient with computer basic tasks and data entry.
• Ability to perform basic math operations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain work orders from the supervisor as required.
• Ensure timely production of quality products per standards.
• Perform safety checks and inspections before startup.
• Acquire materials listed in the BOM for the work order.
