Night shift differential

Job summary

DRC Industries in Carrollton, KY is seeking Slitter Operators for a 150,000ft facility. You will operate a paper slitting machine for the full shift, cutting master rolls into smaller rolls and reviewing job tickets in English.

Responsibilities include knife adjustments, data recording, quality monitoring, and moving materials with a pallet jack or forklift. Night shifts offer a differential; pre-employment drug screening is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic math functions including fractions.
• Must be able to accurately use measuring devices.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Operate a paper slitting machine for the entire shift cutting down master rolls into smaller rolls.
• Review written job specifications from the job ticket in English.
• Adjust cutting knives on machine as needed throughout the run.
• Accurately record required data.
• Monitor quality of product throughout the run.
• Move materials using a pallet jack or forklift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

DRC Industries is a full-service manufacturing and converting operation in a 150,000ft facility in Carrollton, KY. Our customers are steel mills, metal processors, food & beverage manufacturers, contract packaging/fulfillment facilities, furniture manufacturers, automotive suppliers, agricultural industries, and the flooring protection/polishing. To keep up with the needs of our growing business, we are in immediate need of Slitter Operators. If you are reliable, hardworking and possess basic mechanical skills attained from other industries, we would like to speak with you.

General Duties

Depending on shift openings, work hours are 7am- 715pm or 7pm - 715am on a rotating schedule

(Week 1 - Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat, Week 2 - Sun/Wed/Thurs).
