Job summary

A leading flexible packaging company is looking for experienced Slitter Operators for 2nd shift, working from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. You will be responsible for safely operating slitter machines, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean work area. C-P Flexible Packaging is looking for experienced Slitter Operators to join our finishing team on 2nd shift, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. The Slitter Operator operates a slitter safely, efficiently, productively and produces a quality product in accordance with company and customer specifications.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

• Operate slitter machine
• Loading and unloading of rolls on a slitter
• Interpret and understand written information. (orders, SOP's, Lam. and print roll tickets etc.)
• Palletization ( building pallets of finished goods per customer specifications)
• Bagging of finished rolls
• Enter accurate information into computer and on production forms.
• Print out and attach accurate labels to finished rolls.
• Keep Machine and surrounding area safe and clean.
• Spot and determine visual defects.
• Cut out defects and splice together good material.
• Safely do all functions (i.e. lifting, cutting, etc.)
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
