Amcor Batavia, IL is hiring Slitter Operators to set up, run, and support slitting machines in our manufacturing facility. This hands-on role requires experience with machine operation or strong mechanical aptitude.

Amcor is hiring Slitter Operators to set up, run, and support slitting machines in our Batavia manufacturing facility. This is a hands‑on production role for candidates with machine operation experience or strong mechanical aptitude.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and run slitting machines to meet production standards
• Perform quality checks and document results
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues
• Record production data and maintain clean work areas

Must Have

• Machine operator, manufacturing, production, packaging, printing, or web handling experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a fixed 4-3 schedule
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable attendance, safety focus, and teamwork skills

Preferred

• Accurate measurement skills
• Basic metric conversion knowledge
• Forklift or hand jack experience
• Experience helping train or guide team members
