Join our growing manufacturing team in Cary, IL, where you'll have the opportunity to build a long-term career in a stable production environment.**Need one person for each shift:****1st Shift:** Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM**Pay:$20–$22 per hour** based on experience and shift**What You'll Do**As a Slitter Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and setting up slitting equipment used to prepare materials that support production operations and customer roll stock orders.Key responsibilities include:Set up, operate, and monitor slitting machineryPerform machine changeovers and adjustmentsTroubleshoot equipment issues and maintain production efficiencyRead and interpret measurements using a standard rulerInspect materials to ensure quality standards are metSafely move and handle large rolls of material using appropriate equipmentSupport production requirements while maintaining a clean and safe work environment**What We're Looking For**High School Diploma or GED preferredMust be at least 18 years of ageMinimum of 1 year of machine operating experience involving machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshootingStrong mechanical experience involving complex vehicle repair, such as engine, transmission, or major component replacement (personal or professional experience considered)Ability to accurately measure to 1/16\" using a standard ruler (pre-employment ruler test required)Comfortable working on your feet throughout the shiftAbility to lift up to 65 pounds and safely push, pull, and maneuver large material rolls with equipment assistanceAbility to squat, bend, kneel, crouch, and perform physical tasks throughout the dayAbility to work around manufacturing materials, chemicals, and occasional odors**Preferred Qualifications**ISO manufacturing experiencePrevious experience in lamination, packaging, converting, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing environments******Training Provided**Don't have slitting experience?
