Job summary

Technipaq in Cary, IL is seeking a reliable Slitter Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role supports press, lamination, and pouch departments, handling roll stock and related materials.

You will operate and troubleshoot equipment, stand for the full shift, lift up to 65 lbs, and pass a ruler test. We train; prior ISO experience and pharma/lamination background are a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of machine operator experience OR 2+ yrs doing any complex mechanical work.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass our reading and ruler testing.
• Able to stand and walk for the entire shift and lift up to 65 lbs.
• Must pass pre-employment ruler test and tolerate chemicals/odors.

Shift:1st Shift (Cary Location) 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, M-F2nd Shift (Cary Location) 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, M-FRequired Skills:1+ years of machine operator experience OR 2+ yrs doing any complex Mechanical (i.e. taking cars, machines apart, replacing engines or transmissions, etc). is requiredMust be at least 18 years of age and able to pass our reading and ruler testingAbility to be on your feet and stand/walk for entire shift.Make and interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1/16 of an inch (must pass a pre-employment ruler test)Physically fit with no restrictions and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs; push, pull, maneuver very large rolls of materials weighing several hundred pounds with the use of equipment on a daily basis.Must be able to squat, bend, crouch, and kneel.
