Job summary

Houchens Food Group is seeking a Shift Manager to drive fast, accurate, and friendly guest service while supporting the management team. You will help ensure high levels of guest and associate satisfaction and empower decisions to meet company standards.

You will lead daily operations, expedite food, and maintain professional conduct, aiming to uphold quality, service, and sanitation across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate well.
• Proficient math skills and comfort with numbers.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Mature, professional demeanor at all times.
• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Well-groomed, professional appearance.
• Positive attitude and self-discipline.
• At least 1 year supervisor or manager experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in opening and closing the restaurant.

The Shift Manager will display exemplary professional and positive attitudes at all times. The Shift Manager is expected to perform each task in the restaurant and regularly help expedite food to ensure delivery of outstanding guest service. Shift Manager’s assist the management team in meeting Company standards for quality food, service, and sanitation.
