Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a slicer operator for the 2nd shift in our sliced meats department to start-up and run the Weber Slicer. You will handle 35 lb meat logs and ensure accurate slice weights while maintaining product quality.

Responsibilities include cleaning the slicer, following safety policies, adjusting machine settings, and reporting issues to a supervisor. The role requires long periods of standing and lifting up to 40 lbs, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial slicers in a meat processing environment.
• Ability to read manuals/blueprints and work with plant paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Weber Slicer in the sliced meats department.
• Lift meat logs weighing 35 lbs.
• Ensure accuracy of slice weights and product quality.
• Clean the slicer and surrounding area during shift.
• Follow safety policies and report malfunctions to supervisor.
