Tyson Foods is seeking a Scaler to operate across multiple stations at our facility in the United States. The role rotates through the listed stations and performs the duties for each station as described.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly via phone, in person, and in writing.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to use simple measuring instruments.
• Detail oriented.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs continuously.
• Willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must be in good physical condition and have good hand dexterity for constant reaching, pushing & pulling motions.

Responsibilities

• Transfer raw product from cooler to meat dumper with a walk-behind.
• Control dumper to transfer meat to the hopper with computer controls.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Weigh out ingredients to spec.
• Transfer pre-weighed ingredients into an ingredient hopper.
