Tyson Foods is seeking a Slice Machine Operator (Pepperoni) to operate and monitor a single stick automatic peeling and slicing line. The role involves lifting, standing for long periods, and working in cold temperatures.

You will handle metal detectors, peelers, and slicers, ensuring product quality and safety. The position offers an hourly wage of $19.80 with potential overtime and requires basic experience with machine operation and adherence to FSQA/USDA rules.

Qualifications

• 6 months work history with the same employer.
• 6 months of machine operator experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down metal detectors, peelers and slicers.
• Unload sticks from racks and run through the automatic peeler.
• Slice pepperoni sticks one at a time to meet specs; replace blades as needed.
• Collaborate with QA on consistency and quality; input FSQA data into PlantView.
• Monitor safety, use protective equipment, lift up to 50 pounds as required.
