Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring general labor on multiple shifts to work with bone-in ham and related processing tasks. The role involves repetitive hand and arm movements, standing on concrete, and lifting up to 60 lbs. You will operate labeling, weighing, and packaging equipment in a cool environment.

Orientation occurs early in the week. Benefits include PTO, 401(k), and health/dental/vision coverage. Background checks may apply for some positions, and relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Background checks may be required for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Work with cooked meat products (ham) on a production line.
• Stand on concrete for long shifts (8–12 hrs).
• Lift boxes weighing 30–60 lbs. and feed production lines.
• Operate and monitor ink jet printers and labeling on conveyors.
• Move product to scales, apply labels, and place back on conveyors.
• Stripping casing/netting and knife/cutter tasks.
• Rack and hang ham portions on racks, lifting 10–35 lbs.
• Push/pull metal racks up to 2000 lbs with team members.
• Box, bag, and palletize products for shipment.
• Operate case sealer and pallet lift on a fast-paced line.
• Work in cool, damp temperatures (35–50 degrees).
• Orientation classes run Mon–Wed 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
