Job summary

Andros Group seeks a Sleeve Inspector to monitor the sealing of sleeve cartons and ensure packaging meets customer specifications. You will pull samples, record data, and verify correct codes on all parts while coordinating with the Dacam Operator to adjust line speeds and maintain efficiency on the production floor.

Work in a fast-paced environment with PPE required; responsibilities include cleaning glue, documenting tests, and assisting with line stoppages or repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
• Ability to identify safety features and operate guards.
• Willingness for hands-on mechanical troubleshooting.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Regular and reliable attendance required.
• PPE must be worn in Production Area.
• Able to use hand tools and hot glue equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sealing machine and sleeve carton packaging.
• Pull samples and visually review codes, lot numbers, glue seals, and labels.
• Record sample data for SOP audit purposes.
• Ensure correct codes are imprinted on cups, lids, and seals.
• Monitor for leaks or damaged containers on the line.
• Relieve the Dacam Operator for breaks or absences.
• Adjust line speeds and stop/start as needed.
• Scrape/clean glue from rollers to maintain seal quality.
• Communicate with Dacam Operator and Supervisor for issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area.
• Other duties as needed.
