Job summary

Amcor is seeking a production operator to operate high-speed assembly lines and associated equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will perform quality inspections, label finished goods, and ensure timely line clearances while maintaining a clean 5S work area.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 35 lbs, strong English communication, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision in a team-driven environment. Training on procedures may be provided to new staff.

Qualifications

• Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing and lifting.
• Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and multi-task environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed assembly machines and related equipment.
• Perform quality checks according to the work order.
• Package and label finished products.
• Perform line clearances at start and end of orders.
• Communicate key safety, quality, maintenance, production and improvement needs.
• Follow work instructions and train others as needed.
• Perform root cause analysis when problems arise and notify appropriate personnel.
• Remove scrap material from the production area.
• Maintain 5S environment in the work area.
• Comply with ISO, SQF and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as required.
