Job summary

ProAmpac in Mobile, AL is seeking a Packing Inspector to support our on-site manufacturing operations. You will inspect bags, load and unload items, and ensure packaging quality and accurate labeling across lines.

This role requires strong attendance, ability to multitask, and clear communication with machine operators. You will work safely in a climate-controlled environment, following supervisor instructions and contributing to continuous production flow.

Responsibilities

• Inspect bags prior to packaging to ensure quality standards are met.
• Lift raw materials, finished products, and boxes as needed.
• Operate or assist on multiple production lines as directed by a supervisor or adjuster.
• Report any production problems observed, including bag construction, adhesives, print quality, and faulty materials.
• Ensure every finished case is printed with a time/date code and maintain clean, safe work areas.
