Job summary

UCHealth Pulmonology Littleton is seeking a night-shift Sleep Technologist to provide care for patients undergoing sleep studies and treatment for sleep disorders. You will prepare equipment, interview patients, perform tests, score and report results, and educate patients on diagnoses and resources.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus preferred polysomnography or respiratory therapy training, RPSGT or RRT certification, state licensure as needed, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography or Respiratory Therapy program preferred.
• BRPT RPSGT or NBRC RRT certification required or equivalent.
• State licensure as required by law.
• BLS/CPR certification required and valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient testing by setting up equipment and interviewing the patient about sleep disorder issues.
• Perform sleep testing and any additional required testing.
• Score, interpret, and report sleep study results; educate patients about results and resources.
• Prepare, calibrate, repair, and maintain testing equipment; report needed repairs or replacements.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate actions.

Education

High school diploma or GED
