Job summary

CGH Medical Center is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist to provide comprehensive sleep study services under clinical supervision. You will conduct polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic sleep care, and patient education in a collaborative setting.

This role requires formal training in polysomnography, national or state registration eligibility, and timely BLS certification. You will contribute to high-quality patient experiences across CGH’s sleep program and related outpatient

Qualifications

• Must have an accredited program leading to an associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Must be registered by ABSM, NBRC, or BRPT or eligible to sit for registry.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient information to tailor testing parameters.
• Explain pre-, during, and post-testing procedures to patients.
• Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events per center protocols.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment and perform PAP mask fittings.
• Generate accurate reports and maintain patient records.
• Oversee difficult procedures and ensure compliance with safety standards.
