Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Polysomnography Technologist to lead a team in providing advanced patient care. This full-time role requires critical thinking and coordination skills to enhance the quality of patient monitoring and care within the Leprino Sleep Lab, based in Denver, Colorado. The successful candidate will have relevant certifications and the ability to foster teamwork within their department. Qualifications

Location: UCHealth UCHlth Leprino Building AMC, US:CO:Aurora

Department: Leprino Sleep Lab

FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Nights

Pay: $29.54 - $44.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary:
Leads team members by demonstrating and providing advanced care for polysomnography patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides monitoring, coaching and evaluation of team members' performance, especially in the areas of productivity and quality management.
  • Serves as a positive role model for team members by working with them to promote teamwork and cooperation.
  • Assists with coordinating services, prioritizing assignments and workflow, and promoting situational decision-making/problem solving.
  • Performs the responsibilities of a Polysomnography Technologist. Takes responsibility for, or provides guidance to team members on, the handling of complex or novel issues.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.


Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in related field preferred and graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program.
  • Certified or registered as a Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT or RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT). State licensure if required by law.
  • 1 year of related experience.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
