Mohawk Valley Health System is seeking a Sleep Technologist to conduct and monitor sleep studies under the Sleep Disorders Center Director. The role covers adolescent to geriatric patients across various sleep/wake disorders, with responsibilities including electrode placement, equipment calibration, and comprehensive data documentation.

Qualified candidates must complete an accredited sleep technology or respiratory therapy program and have at least two years of related experience.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited sleep technology or allied health training program.
• Two years of related patient care or laboratory experience.

Responsabilidades

• Review patient charts and requisitions before start of testing.
• Prepare and apply electrodes using standard sleep study methods.
• Monitor patient during recordings and ensure data quality and safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report issues promptly to the team.
• Document care and patient data accurately in the EHR system.
• Ensure proper calibration and testing of recording devices.
