Job summary

Sovah Health - Martinsville, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Sleep Technologist to join our team in a full-time role. You will follow sleep study protocols, perform calibrations, and document baseline values while ensuring data quality for polysomnographic results.

The ideal candidate will handle patient safety interventions and support scoring and interpretation of results, with opportunities for professional growth and competitive hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• Completion of a technology training program or enrollment in A-STEP or equivalent.
• BLS certification; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Experience with sleep study data collection and monitoring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow protocols like MSLT, MWT, parasomnia studies, PAP, and oxygen titration to collect data.
• Calibrate physiology equipment and adjust signals as needed.
• Document baseline values and monitor sleep study parameters during testing.
• Acquire data while ensuring signal quality and artifact reduction; document observations.
• Record sleep stages and events and assist with scoring and interpretation of results.
