Job summary

ScionHealth is seeking a Sleep Technologist to provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing sleep studies and sleep disorder treatment. You will prepare, execute, monitor, and interpret polysomnographic procedures, educating patients and families on sleep-related concerns while coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams in an acute care setting.

You will maintain and troubleshoot sleep study equipment, score and report findings, and adapt to varying shifts including evenings or nights

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited polysomnography program or equivalent.
• BLS certification required; registry by BRPT/ABSM/NBRC or eligible.
• Experience in performing and scoring sleep studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and environment for sleep testing procedures.
• Interview patients to gather sleep history and explain procedures.
• Conduct sleep studies and additional tests as needed.
• Score, interpret, and report sleep study findings.
• Educate patients on sleep disorders and follow-up care.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; request repairs.
• Ensure supplies and materials are available for testing.
