Position Details

Location: Amherst, NY

Position: Sleep Technologist

Type: Full-time, Permanent / Direct Hire

Setting: Sleep Center

Schedule: Full-time, Multiple shifts available, 8:00pm-6:00am - Thurs-Sun/Fri-Mon OR 6:00pm-6:00am - Thurs-Sat, with occasional travel to different centers

Compensation and Benefits: $25-$35/hr depending on credentials, education, and experience in sleep testing, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and PTO

Responsibilities

The Sleep Technologist performs diagnostic and treatment polysomnograms on adolescents and adult patients, attaching electrodes and monitors, monitoring the patient during sleep studies, and documenting observations and data for interpretation.

Requirements

• CPSGT, RPSGT, NYSL, PSG, CRT, RRT, LPN, or RN license
• Completion of a sleep lab training program; ASTEP, CAAHEP, or CoARC program enrollment and completion if applicable
• Must obtain RPSGT or RST certification within 3 years of hire
• Valid BLS or ALS certification
