Job summary

Memorial Health System is seeking a Sleep Trainee to support in‑center and home sleep testing workflows. You will review patient histories, obtain consent, and educate patients about procedures while assisting with PSG, PAP titration, and data review under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program with a recognized certification.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills in reviewing patient history and verifying medical orders.
• Explain sleep testing procedures and obtain consent and age‑appropriate education.
• Prepare and monitor polysomnographic equipment according to standards.
• Score sleep stages and document findings following guidelines.
• Ensure data integrity, report generation, and equipment maintenance.
