Job summary

The Christ Hospital is seeking a Sleep Tech Trainee to support physician-ordered diagnostic testing related to sleep. Under supervision, you will perform MSLT, MWT, PAP titration, and other studies, register patients, and ensure accurate documentation.

You will prepare and calibrate equipment, apply electrodes, educate patients, and help maintain safety. A high school diploma or GED with some patient care experience or enrollment in a sleep technology program is required, along with BLS and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with six months of direct patient care experience, or enrollment/graduation from a sleep technology program.
• Preferred BLS certification.
• RPSGT credential by end of first employment year.

Responsibilities

• Perform sleep testing including MSLT, MWT, parasomnia studies, PAP, oxygen titration, and data collection.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment; notify Clinical Eng as needed.
• Apply electrodes and educate patients on procedures; document results.
• Register, discharge patients and complete required documentation.
• Follow baseline value procedures and document routine observations.
