Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• Willing to train as Sleep Technician Apprentice under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and preparation of sleep study rooms.
• Learn proper placement of electrodes and sensors on patients.
• Observe and record vital signs during sleep studies.
• Shadow and assist experienced sleep technicians in monitoring sleep patterns overnight.
• Troubleshoot and maintain polysomnography equipment during studies.
• Document sleep study data accurately and comprehensively.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
