Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and A-Step Program Certification.
• Twelve to eighteen months of related experience preferred.
• Board certification from BRPT or ABSM required; pass exam within 18 months if not registered.

Responsibilities

• Gathers materials and sets up equipment for tests.
• Discusses test procedures with patients and answers questions.
• Instructs patient on PAP therapy usage.
• Prepares patient by applying electrodes per AASM standards.
• Calibrates and recalibrates machines as needed.
• Monitors patient during testing and troubleshoots equipment.
