Qualifications

• Proficiency with polysomnographic equipment and protocols.
• Strong knowledge of sleep study procedures and data collection.
• Accurate EEG,EOG,EMG placement and monitoring.
• Detail-oriented with troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with EHR documentation and clinical records.
• Familiarity with infection control and safety routines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct polysomnographic studies per protocols and AASM standards.
• Apply and monitor EEG,EOG,EMG electrodes for studies.
• Operate and troubleshoot PSG equipment during studies.
• Monitor patients overnight and document observations.
• Maintain accurate study documentation in EHR.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the study.
• Prepare rooms and equipment per safety procedures.
• Communicate procedures and medical history with patients.
• Analyze preliminary data for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff for study interpretation.
• Maintain records of maintenance, calibration, inventory.
