Qualificações

• BRPT STAR or equivalent focused education required or in progress.
• Polysomnography program accreditation or AAHEP/CoARC/CAAHEP recognized.
• RPSGT certification required or must be obtained within 30 months of hire.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and prioritize scheduling of inpatient and outpatient sleep procedures.
• Ensure completion of patient testing within established time frames.
• Document procedures in patient charts per guidelines and supervision.
• Prepare and submit accurate patient charges and maintain records.
• Gather information from clinical records to support quality sleep studies.
• Perform sleep studies per policy, recording neurological signals as required.
• Explain procedures to patients and families and address concerns.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and room readiness in the Sleep Evaluation Center.
• Assist with inventory, supplies, and sterilization procedures per policy.
• Participate in education sessions and share knowledge with staff.
• Support research activities and hands-on training for trainees.

BRPT STAR designated program

A-STEP 80-hour Introductory Course

CoARC/CAAHEP accredited polysomnography program

RPSGT certification or within 30 months of hire

Basic Life Support certification within 30 days
