Job summary

Wheeling Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Sleep Technologist to perform diagnostic sleep studies and support evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality studies, document findings, and participate in staff training.

Required qualifications include RPSGT or RST with 18 months sleep lab experience, or a state-licensed Respiratory Therapist with NBRC credentials and 1 year RT experience. This is a full-time role within the Sleep Lab in West Virginia.

Qualifications

• RPSGT or RST with 18 months sleep lab experience.
• Respiratory Therapist license with 1 year sleep experience; NBRC certifications listed.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient testing procedures in Sleep Center and hospital, ensuring high quality studies.
• Document results in Tech Notes, equipment, and patient chart.
• Perform sleep studies per Sleep Evaluation Center policies, bedside and in critical care areas.
• Prepare initial data for physician sleep reports per department guidelines.
• Observe and report patient concerns promptly and accurately.
• Maintain equipment, rooms, and CEU requirements; assist training of staff.
