Job summary

ProMedica's Sleep Center at Bay Park Hospital is seeking a Polysomn Care Assistant to assemble, operate, and troubleshoot therapeutic and diagnostic equipment for patients of all ages, including Sleep System recordings with EKG, POX, and EEG.

You will educate patients on disease-specific processes and home care equipment, performing duties under the Sleep Center leadership and adhering to hospital policies. This role covers night shifts and is full-time.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• If not Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, evidence of enrollment to obtain sleep credential is needed.
• Must obtain sleep credential within one year of hire.
• BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, operate and troubleshoot therapeutic and diagnostic equipment for patients of all ages in Sleep Center, including Sleep System with EKG, POX, and EEG.
• Provide education on disease-specific processes, including home care equipment.
• Work under the Sleep Center leadership team and follow all Sleep Center and Hospital Policies and Procedures.
