Job summary

ProMedica Bay Park Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist to join the Sleep Center on a nights shift. You will perform sleep studies, CPAP and Bi-level titrations, REM studies, MSLT testing and oxygen titrations as part of a comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.

Qualified candidates have at least 12 months of polysomnography experience and must possess an RPSGT credential or obtain it within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must hold RPSGT or achieve registration within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 12 months experience in Polysomnography.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform sleep studies including PSG, CPAP, Bi-level, REM studies, MSLT and oxygen titrations.
• Provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.
• Assist with non-routine and complex recordings and titration procedures.

Job Summary: $20k sign on bonus with 2 year commitment As a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, you will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. In this role, you will perform all interventions/procedures in a sleep study including routine, non-routine and complex recordings such as CPAP, Bi-level, split night studies, seizure studies, REM behavior studies, MSLT testing, routing PSG recordings and Oxygen titrations. REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 12 months experience in Polysomnography
• RPSGT - Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, if not Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, Registration may be obtained in one of the following ways within 6 months of hire:
• Completes the A-Step online modules
• Completes a CAAHCP accredited Sleep Training Program
• Completes an Electro Neuro Diagnostic Program
• Completes a Respiratory Therapy add-on Track for Sleep Technology Certification: BCLS at time of hire.
